A gin festival is coming to Wandsworth, featuring 120 gins, prosecco cocktails and distiller masterclasses.

The Gin Society Festival is heading to Wandsworth Town Hall from March 23 to 25, with organisers saying 'the event will take you on a gin journey where you will be able to discover the delights of british, world and fruit gins, plus a changing range of guest gins and prosecco cocktails'.

The organisers add: "To add to the fizzy festival atmosphere, there will be a vintage DJ, whose speakeasy sounds take you back to those decadent days when the gin cocktail was king."

Botanical Brewers Fentimans will be supplying tonic waters and, for those who like something a little different with their gin, Rose Lemonade and Pink Grapefruit Tonic will also be available. Throughout the day and evening, distillers will be sharing their skills in a series of gin masterclasses.

Visitors will have the chance to taste new and unusual gins at the Tasting Stations as well as special talks about the drink's 'grisly' history.

You can also sip taste a range of new and unusual gins at our bespoke Tasting Station and learn a few facts and fibs about how the gin craze began at a special talk where its grisly history will be unfolded.

Early bird tickets are now on sale, priced at £14 for each each session. Go to theginsociety-wandsworth2018.eventbrite.co.uk

Entry includes a bespoke Gin Society goblet and souvenir booklet of tasting notes.
