Only Fools and Horses star Patrick Murray, known for his role as Mickey Pearce on the popular BBC series, has died at the age of 68.
A statement on the Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society Facebook page said: "Patrick Murray.
"It is with heartfelt sadness that we report the death of our friend Patrick Murray - Mickey Pearce to so many.
"He was a regular attendee of our conventions and we will miss his humour and the joy he brought to many.
"Sleep Well Pat!"
Patrick played the character of Mickey in around 20 episodes of Only Fools, which ran from 1983 to 2003.
He also had roles in ITV Playhouse, Scum, Quadrophenia, Breaking Glass, Curse of the Pink Panther and Bergerac.
Hundreds of fans have been paying tribute to Patrick, following the news of his death.
One person commented: "My deepest condolences to Patrick’s family he was a great character in only fools and horses my all time favourite comedy series R.I.P."
Another wrote: "Oh no! Another OFAH family member, we have to say goodbye to RIP Patrick. Condolences to his family and friends x."

This person shared: "Rest peacefully Patrick. Mickey Pearce was a legendary character in fools. Thank you for the laughs, you’re going to be missed."
A viewer who was also sad to learn of his passing, put: "RIP Patrick aka Micky Pearce was 1 of the best characters in OFAH always laughed at his parts he played it brilliantly, so very sad, he has joined Grandad, Uncle Albert, Mike, Trigger, Boycie & Sid, all OFAH legends."
Someone recalled their treasured memories with Patrick, as they said: "Patrick used to be a cabby in Blackheath in the 90s and often I would get him to drive me home after a late night out at the pub… he would do this in between his bouts of acting…. This is very sad news."
