A teenage boy is in critical condition after he was stabbed in the chest near Centrale Shopping Centre in Croydon on Monday afternoon.
Officers believe the victim was stabbed in Drummond Road, near the carpark, before he made his way to a corner shop in Tamworth Road where he collapsed.
He and was taken by friends to Charrington Road, where he was found by police shortly after 15.45pm.
The victim was taken by London Ambulance Service to a south-London hospital where he remains in critical condition.
No arrests have yet been made. Detectives from Croydon CID are investigating the incident.
