A world-renowned philosopher, academic and author visited Ewell Castle School to expand the young minds there.
Dr Peter Vardy is the author of 13 philosophy books and has written features in Times Higher Education and The Age.
He spent the afternoon of Friday, January 25, with sixth form students and challenged then to think outside the box.
His engaging presentation on such topics as the existence of the soul and euthanasia lead to the students participating in in-depth discussion and voting on a motion for euthanasia.
Religious Science teacher, Victoria Ikwuemesi, said: “The school was buzzing.”
