Leatherhead Recycling Centre
If you’re powering through the January Blues by sorting out clutter, you should be aware that Epsom Community Recycling Centre (AKA the rubbish dump on Blenheim Road) will now close two days a week.
Its new opening hours, as from January 8, are:
Monday - 8am to 4pm
Tuesday and Wednesday - closed
Thursday and Friday - 8am to 4pm
Weekends - 9am to 4pm
The nearest alternate site is Leatherhead Community Recycling Centre, Randalls Road, a 20 minute drive away.
Real Christmas trees are being picked up fortnightly on selected dates with your usual refuse collection, check out Where I live for details of your date.
