Police have renewed an appeal after multiple Banstead burglaries.

The first offence occurred in Yewlands Close February 3, sometime between 3pm and 4pm where a large quantity of jewellery was stolen including a silver heart shaped locket and chain with immense sentimental value to the victim.

The second incident occurred on Dunnymans Road at about 10.45am hours on March 29 where a parcel was interfered with but nothing was stolen.

Police have released a video of a man they wish to speak with as they believe he may be able to assist with the enquiries.

Enquiries undertaken so far have led police to suspect that the offences may be linked.

"Were you in the areas on those dates and times," Surrey Police said.

"Did you pass through the areas? Do you have any DashCam footage or CCTV?

"If you have any information, no matter how small, then please call 101 and quote reference 45190012279."
