A crash between a car and a cyclist in Oxshott sent a man to hospital and caused police to close Fairoak Lane.
It involved a man in his 20s on a bike and a silver Toyota Yaris, in Fairoak Lane at 8.42am.
The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Fairoak Lane is closed both ways from near Heath Road all the way to Malden Rushett.
Surrey Police expects the road to be closed for several more hours while officers investigate.
The force is also appealing for anyone with information to call 101, or use report.police.uk, quoting reference P18048476.
