Epsom Downs Primary School enjoyed their summer fair this weekend with guest enjoying the school’s very own steel band, ice creams, candy floss and Pimms.

Visitors were entertained by an exciting gymnastics display by the award winning school team featuring acrobatics, balances, tumbles and dance routines followed by a performance by the disco dance club.

Other attractions included fairground rides, games, inflatables, face painting, cake decorating with even the community police joining capturing the speed of children running using their speed guns.

Over at the school garden children were thrilled by new arrivals Domino and Marley the pigmy goats, who were joined by Hobi the pony as well as ducks, chickens and rabbits.

A spokesperson for the school’s fundraising group, The Money Spinners, said, “It was a most enjoyable and successful afternoon and over £1,500 was raised towards buying a trim trail for the younger pupils.”
