Detailed plans for a new multi-million-pound academy for pupils in Tulse Hill are now open to consultation.
After attracting more than £18m for the development, the academy, which is sponsored by leading education group E-act, will occupy a new purpose- built school alongside the rebuilt Fenstanton Primary School, at Abbots Park, Tulse Hill.
The curriculum will include a strong focus on modern foreign languages and international studies, with the aim of equiping young people with a good all round education and opportunities to excel.
Facilities at the new academy will include the latest technology and computer suites, as well as specialist study areas for design, science, technology, drama and music.
It will be open to all students who apply through Lambeth’s existing admissions arrangements.
The consultation closes on July 8. For more information call 020 3176 3897.
