A high-flying Epsom student has scooped a major law award after achieving top marks in his subject.
Christopher Pettett, 25, has won the DLA Award presented by international law firm DLA Piper after gaining 90 per cent and 80 per cent in business and commercial law exams.
Mr Pettett, of Amberley Gardens Stoneleigh, who studied at The College of Law in Guildford said winning the award came down to hard work.
“It makes the hard slog feel all the more worthwhile - I’m absolutely thrilled to have won the award.”
Mr Pettett, who went to Sutton Grammar School for Boys before graduating from Cambridge University in 2007 with a 1st class Honours Degree in Modern Languages.
Next March he will begin his two-year training contract to qualify as a solicitor with London firm Stephenson Harwood.
