Students at Kingston College celebrated their achievements at the college’s annual prize-giving ceremony on Thursday, June 17.
Kingston mayor Councillor Chrissie Hitchcock was on hand to present the awards to students in front of a full house at the college’s theatre.
Among the many recipients in an entertaining night was Alisa Gurung who was awarded the general education faculty prize for best student.
Miss Gurung had a minimum target of grade E at the start of the year but went on to achieve an A grade in A/S-level business in January.
Miss Gurung said: “I have enjoyed studying here and my teachers have motivated me to achieve good grades.”
