A disabled 12-year-old has been awarded for his sporting abilities, winning money for his Streatham school in the process.
Aslam Bhyat, a pupil at Dunraven School, won an award from the Jack Petchey foundation, a charity that gives recognition to young people who achieve things in adversity.
Aslam, who has multiple sclerosis, won a string of medals at a disabled games.
The £200 he won for Dunraven has been used to buy sports equipment for young people with disabilities.
St Martin in the Fields pupil Danique Dawkins, 16, also won an award for doing all her GCSE coursework and entering all her exams despite extreme medical circumstances.
The Jack Petchey foundation donates £22,200 each year to schools in Lambeth.
