Green-minded youngsters at St Anne’s School earned brownie points with residents when they cleaned up a local churchyard.
The kids purged St Anne’s Church of rubbish using green bags and litter picks as part of a “big tidy up” day.
Yvonne Norman, headteacher at the school in St Ann’s Hill, Wandsworth, said: “The tidy up helped children discover more about the problem of litter in their local environment and how they could make a positive contribution to their local area."
