A team from Ewell Castle School have scooped first prize in a business challenge.
Year 10 students won the Epsom, Ewell and Banstead Schools’ Enterprise Challenge 2008, and were awarded £100 to their school and another £100 in vouchers to split between themselves.
The seven-strong team had to prepare a ‘business pitch’ to present to a panel of judges from several local businesses, including Leeds Building Society and Ewell Rotary Club.
Each participating school received a full brief outlining options for a fictitious business.
