Teachers and ex-pupils are calling on former students of a Thames Ditton school to join in its 50th anniversary celebration day.
St Paul’s Catholic Primary School will mark the occasion on Saturday, September 14, with a mass at 1pm and a school tour at 2pm.
Former pupil Tess Townsend, who is on the committee that helped organise the day, said: “It should be really lovely.
“After the mass everyone will walk across from the church to the school.
“Each of the different classrooms will have different stuff going on.
“Depending on what decade you went to the school, you will be funnelled to the classroom that represents that decade.
“There will be giveaways and a few surprises along the way.”
She urged former pupils interested in attending to register, so the team can have a rough idea of who is coming and cater appropriately. Tea, coffee, soft drinks, sparkling wine and treats will be available during the afternoon, while former pupils can marvel at photographs and memorabilia.
