If you liked getting a coffee and some breakfast from Piccolino's Snack Bar then we have some bad news for you.
As of Saturday, July 29, the snack bar on St George's Walk will shut its doors for good.
Why, after nine years has this suddenly come about? Owner Filippo Piccolino puts it down to the closure of the Fairfield car park
"A lot of our business was from people who would use the Fairfield car park and then come down St George's Walk," he said.
"Since the carpark closed, we're just not getting that trade."
Mr Piccolino said his business wasn't the first to feel the pinch.
"A lot of shops around here have been taken by bailiffs because they haven't been able to pay the rent," he said.
This Saturday will be the last day the snack bar is in operation.
Some took to social media to voice their sadness at the news.
"It is so sad that this lovely family run business is closing on July 29," one woman said.
"I always popped in when I worked at the council and even now on the odd Saturday.
"I wish everyone there good luck for the future, they have served our community so well for many, many years.
"It's a testament that they have survived for so long while others in St George's Walk have gone by the wayside."
