Ever found yourself in desperate need of a caffeine kick but too tired to open the car door to buy a hot drink?
Help is (finally) at hand with Croydon's first drive-through coffee shop.
The new Costa Coffee opened its doors at the Colonnades leisure park in Purley Way on Wednesday.
The park is under new ownership after a sale to new owners was completed this week.
Ian Rusbridge, director of the firm that manages the site, told the Croydon Guardian last month that the new landlords would be more "proactive" than previous owners.
He said: "There were will be quite a bit of activity on the park as we look regenerate the scheme, bring in new occupiers, take advantage of its prominent location and make this more of a destination for Croydon."
Lidl and Aldi are among the retailers to have enquired about opening shops on the site, while a climbing-wall operator, a gym company and restaurants have also expressed an interest.
