A man has been charged following the death of a pensioner hit by a car last year.
Joaquim Dias, 57, of South Croydon, is accused of causing the death of James McGowen by careless driving in a collision in Selsdon Park Road on August 23.

The 79-year-old died in hospital after being struck near the junction of Farnborough Avenue at about 9am.
Mr Dias, of Kingsdown Avenue, will appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
He is alleged to have killed Mr McGowen by driving a Peugeot 307 without due care and attention.
