Oasis Academy Coulsdon students are calling on Government funding to be used to help victims of human trafficking.
The sixth form students discussed met with Edward Timpson MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children and Families, when he visited the Academy as part of the Anti-slavery/ Stop The Traffik global awareness campaign.
In the last three years students have raised more than £3,000 for Stop the Traffik and their money has helped provide an education for two young trafficking victims in Zimbabwe.
