Three men and a woman have been charged in connection with a series of bank robberies.
Leroy Hall, 35, from Streatham, Leon McKenzie, 32, from Orpington in Kent, Clifford Griffiths, 35, from Mitcham, and Jacqueline Smith, 34, also from Mitcham appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 12, charged with conspiracy to rob.
The charges follow raids at a Barclays bank in Gloucestershire on June 14, 2011 and September 20 2011, and an attempted robbery in Gloucestershire on April 3 when they were arrested.
Mr Hall and Mr McKenzie were remanded in custody and Mr Griffiths and Ms Smith released on conditional bail. They will appear at Winchester Crown Court on September 25.
