An Italian clothes boutique is closing after 34 years.
Antoinette Pullicino, owner of Valentina Fashions of Church Road in Wimbledon Village, is shutting up shop after more than three decades.
Mrs Pullcino said: "It is very sad.
"I ran the shop like it was my sitting room as I wanted it to be special.
"We have had some wonderful clients and I would go abroad to buy with them in mind.
"I have been very lucky and have had a really long run and I thought now is the time to retire and have a break and decide what I want to do next.
"It’s been wonderful and I thank all of my customers for all the support they have given me."
Over the years Valentina has hosted dozens of charity galas raising thousands for charity.
Sue Avory, 62, who has worked at the shop for the last 11 years, said: "Antoinette is here six days a week and it’s almost like her home.
"The clothes she buys are from Italy so they are different from the high street."
"It will be like moving your whole life out.
