The Old Palace has a history dating back to Archbishop Lanfranc, an adviser to William the Conqueror, and the Domesday Book. Visitors have included royalty ranging from King Henry VII, Henry VIII, Mary I, Elizabeth I and our own Queen Elizabeth II.
While we are not expecting such illustrious names at our re-union we would like to contact as many former pupils as possible for a rather more humble reunion at a hotel in Croydon in September 2001 - a reunion which we hope will add to the continuing history of this wonderful building.
We've located former pupils in an area stretching from Sussex to North Yorkshire, Somerset to East Anglia, across the Channel to France and over to Canada and, so far, about a third of our 1952 intake have indicated that they will be there at the reunion.
But we would like to find others with whom we have lost contact.
