Celebrity Love Island loser Paul Danan has pulled out of his upcoming appearance at Croydon's Warehouse Theatre, blaming his heavy workload.
Former Hollyoaks actor Danan, famed more recently for an embarrassing appearance on reality TV show Celebrity Love Island, withdrew from the Warehouse production Love and Human Remains with a statement from his agent on Friday, October 13.
Monique Constance Briggs, producer of the show which opens on October 25 in Croydon, said: "Paul could not commit to the heavy rehearsal schedule that a show of this calibre demands and it is in the show's best interest that the part be re-cast in order to deliver a production worthy of this great play."
Unknown actor Nic Thornton will now play the role of Bernie and rehearsals are already underway to ensure the production's opening night runs smoothly.
