An outspoken South Korean group, whose political podcast has attracted a cult following, is visiting Kingston.
Naneun Ggomsuda or I Am A Petty-Minded Creep is made up of four middle-aged men who aim to provide a comical alternative to mainstream Korean news media.
Bona Shin, director of Theatre For All, a New Malden charity, said the group had attracted youngsters and people who might not otherwise be interested in politics, in Korea and across the world.
She said: “It has gained popularity for their overtly frank, direct talking style, their political insight and intuitive power.
“I am delighted that we can finally see them in UK.”
Naneun Ggomsuda will be staying in Kingston while they visit the UK and will perform at London’s King’s College on May 26 and Oxford University on May 27.
