A Gardeners’ World presenter visited the Royal Marsden in Sutton to create a garden.
Homebase partnered with garden designer Joe Swift to create the Homebase Teenage Cancer Trust Garden for the 2012 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
The garden celebrates the positive benefits gained from gardening and creating an outdoor space.
Joe Swift held a gardening workshop alongside Homebase horticulture expert Jane Templar with five previous patients at the Oaks Centre for Children and Young People at the Royal Marsden.
The group planted a variety of seeds, plants, bulbs and vegetables and learn about the benefits of gardening and took home their creations from the day.
