The body of a man has been found in woodland by the A3 in Claygate.
The man, believed to be in his late 30s, was discovered by a member of the public in Glebelands at about 4.30pm yesterday.
Surrey Police are investigating the death, and the man is yet to be formally identified.
A Surrey Police spokesman said: “The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
“Police are keeping an open mind and investigating to establish whether there are any suspicious circumstances.”
