More than 300 owners of vintage cars staged a run from Wallington to Brighton on Sunday, April 1.
Members of the Austin Seven Owners Club began their journey at the Woodcote Green Garden Centre in celebration of the vintage motor’s 90th anniversary.
Phil Barnden, general manager at Woodcote Green said: “It was fantastic to see so many wonderful little cars all in one place and a privilege to welcome them to our Garden Centre.
“The dedication and love the owners show towards their cars was very much in evidence, and a joy to see. The weather was behaving too, which was just as well as many of the cars were open topped with very little protection, and it’s a long way to Brighton in the rain.
“We have invited many of the cars back on Sunday August the 26th when Woodcote Green Garden Centre will be hosting its very own Classic & Vintage car show in aid of the St Raphs Hospice.”
Anyone interested in joining them with their own classic car can do so by picking up and entry form in store or downloading one at www.woodcotegreen.com
