Five people including two children have been hospitalised after a four car collision this afternoon.
Fire fighters were called to Forrester's Drive at the junction of Sandy Lane in Wallington at about 12.46pm.
One man had to be cut free from his vehicle by fire fighters using hydraulic equipment.
Two adults and two children were taken to St Helier Hospital and another patient was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting.
Three pumps from Croydon, Mitcham and Norbury attended the scene along with police and ambulance crews.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 12.41pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving four cars. We sent four ambulance crews and a single responder in a car. We treated five patients in total. Two adults and two children were taken to St Helier Hospital and one further patients was taken to St Georges in Tooting. All were treated for minor injuries."
