Motorists are facing possible delays after a water leak in Croydon.
Emergency repairs are taking place in Purley Way at the junction with Waddon Road and Mill Lane.
Traffic will be “severely affected” by the work, which takes place between 8pm on Saturday, march 10 to 10am on Sunday.
There will be temporary three way lights set up at this location, closing Waddon Road to all traffic in and out of Purley way.
All Waddon Road traffic will be diverted via Epsom Road.
A spokesman for Thames Water said: "We will be working to repair a leaking pipe this weekend and are really sorry for all the traffic congestion this will cause, but this is a must-do job.
"The potential consequences of leaving leaks to develop into major bursts would be far worse and having had below average rainfall for 19 of the last 24 months, saving water is vital."
