A 25-year-old student was arrested on suspicion of a string of driving offences after a car overturned in Sutton last night.
Emergency services were called to Albion Road, Sutton at 11.44pm on Tuesday, March 6.
The female driver was pulled unscathed fom the vehicle by a member of the public.
Firefighters were called to the scene because it was first thought she might need to be cut from the vehicle.
A woman was arrested at the scene for aggravated vehicle taking, driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs, driving whilst disqualified and having no insurance.
She is in custody at Sutton Police Station. Police enquiries are continuing.
