Foundation Degree in Early Years Childcare and Education Students who successfully complete the course will be awarded the Foundation Degree (FdA) in Early Years Childcare and Education by Roehampton University. The degree takes 2 years, studying at College one evening a week and one Saturday per month.

This model of learning full-time at work and part-time at College allows students to remain in employment whilst completing their qualification. This Early Years Sector-Endorsed Foundation Degree has been designed to provide enhanced career progression and academic credibility for the skills and knowledge embedded in the Senior Practitioner role in Early Years and school-based settings. Learners are required to have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent to enrol. On successful completion of the programme students will gain a Foundation Degree and Senior Practitioner status and should be capable of progressing to a wide range of higher level professional and academic appointments. Students will also have the opportunity of progressing onto an Honours Degree.
