Councillors Ian Lake and Denise Saliagopoulos have today been asked to stand down as Surrey cabinet members.
Coun Lake is cabinet member for transport, while Coun Saliagopoulous is member for community services and the 2012 Games.
Surrey’s leader Councillor David Hodge said: “This decision relates to matters that are now being referred to the council’s standards committee.
“Two new cabinet members will be appointed shortly.”
