A networking group for business women celebrated its first birthday last Tuesday.

About 40 women turned up to celebrate Tooting Ladies Who Latte.

It took place in Premier Inn, Chapter Way, Wimbledon, with talks from women who run their own businesses and opportunities to network.

Premier Inn donated money made from coffee and tea sales to Oxfam International Women's Day, raising £100 in total.

The group began meeting in a coffee shop in Tooting last year and originally had 17 members.

It has since expanded, forcing it to relocate to bigger premises.

Those taking part include book-keepers, caterers and beauticians.

Tracey Rissik, of Tooting, owner of The Simple Web Company and group leader said: "It was absolutely super, it was a really lovely buzz and I felt supported by everyone there."

Wendy Ager from Get Better Coaching said, 'The business women who come to Tooting Ladies Who Latte are always energised and motivated. "We had a fantastic session last year where we all shared our best business tip, to help each other. It was so useful that I put them on my blog."

The group meets on the last Tuesday of the month.
