An elderly man died following a fire in a maisonette on Friday.
About 20 firefighters were called to the blaze in St Rule Street, Battersea at 12.25pm on Friday, March 2.
They brought the fire under control at 1.45pm but not before it had torn through part of the two storey building.
Fire crews from Clapham, Brixton and Battersea all helped battle the blaze.
The dead man has not yet been named.
Noone else had to be evacuated and the cause of the blaze is still being investigated.
