Teenager in serious but stable condition following West Norwood stabbing
A teenager who was stabbed in West Norwood yesterday is in a serious but stable condition.
Police were called to the incident on Ernest Avenue at the junction with Beadman Street, shortly after 1.15pm.
The 17-year-old is believed to have been stabbed on the top deck of the 432 bus next to south Norwood bus garage.
A police cordon remains in place at the scene.
One person, believed to be a teenager, has been arrested in connection with incident and remains in police custody.
