A member of the House of Lords visited a college to encourage students to engage with politics.
Lord Harries of Pentregarth, met students in St Francis Xavier sixth form college, Malwood Road, Clapham on Thursday (March 1) and gave a talk about his role.
The history and politics students were then invited to ask questions about aspects of the parliamentary process and life at Westminster.
It was arranged through the Lord Speaker's Peers in Schools programme, which sends House of Lords into schools across the country in support of the citizenship curriculum.
Jessica Hardy, head of politics, said, "This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to interact with someone who knows the parliamentary system inside out."
