Liberal Democrat MP Tom Brake has spoken to politics pupils about Westminster, the Coalition and potential changes to the House of Lords.
The MP for Carshalton and Wallington was quizzed by politics students at Trinity College, Croydon on January 30.
Mr Brake, who has been member of Carshalton and Wallington for more than 10 years follows in the steps of ex Labour MP Tony Benn and Foreign Secretary, William Hague in speaking to the college politics department, established three years ago He spoke of his time in office and fielded questions on issues such as Nick Clegg’s leadership and House of Lords reform.
He said: “It was a pleasure to visit the school and to have the opportunity to discuss such a wide range of topics.”
