Man arrested after hit and run re-bailed
A man who was arrested after a cyclist was knocked down in a hit and run collision has been re-bailed.
The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to St Georges Hospital in Tooting with a serious head injury after he was knocked down on Saturday, December 17, on Kingston Road in Leatherhead.
The driver of a silver car, possibly a Vauxhall Astra, failed to stop after hitting the cyclist.
The man arrested, who is in his 20s, has been re-bailed until Saturday, February 25.
