Wine connoisseurs had the chance to sample some exotic flavours and learn about the best ways to look after their booze at a new jazz venue in Streatham.
The tasting evening at Hideaway Jazz Cafe on Streatham High Road was hosted by the wine bar’s co-founders Chix Chandaria and Dan Ruebuck.
Ms Chandaria, who lives in Streatham Hill, said: "I'm a Streatham local - I love the area - so when we established the business in 2009, I was keen to sell locally wherever possible.
"I was thrilled when Hideaway started selling our wines.
"It was a chance not to be missed - it seemed like a natural progression, and a rare opportunity to get a permanent foothold in the vibrant local community.
"Of course, I'm hoping people will come for a taste, and stay for a bottle."
