Epsom Downs Racecourse is still waiting for a report detailing why the roof of its £23.5m Duchess’s Stand was ripped off in high winds last month.
Structural engineers, insurers and Epsom and Ewell Borough Council have all been involved in the investigation which will result in a final report into what went wrong next week.
A spokesperson for the race course said: "The report has not yet been finalised.
"They have had structural engineers out there but they are waiting their final report as they don’t want to speculate until they see in print what went wrong and what’s going to be done to remedy it."
