A woman was flashed as she got into her car on Monday.
The 20-year-old from Egham was in Manor Road, Walton, when she noticed a man standing next to the passenger side of her car.
He exposed himself for a few seconds, without saying anything, before crossing the road and walking down Hill Rise.
PC Ian Madelin said: “This was a concerning incident where a young woman was approached while she was getting into her car.
“Fortunately the victim was not harmed or threatened in any way during the incident but she has understandably been left extremely frightened by such a distressing experience.
“I would like to reassure the Walton community that we are taking this matter very seriously and are appealing for the public’s help to track down the person responsible.”
The flasher was a white man in his early 20s, about 5ft 9in, of a large build, with short, mousy coloured hair.
He was clean shaven and wearing a dark coloured top and black tracksuit bottoms.
Call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference number EL/12/537, if you have information about the incident, which took place at 6.30pm.
