A man has been charged with the murder of teenager Seydou Diarrassouba on Oxford Street during the Boxing Day sales.
Thulani Thomas Khumalo, 20, from Etherley Road in Harringay is due to appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court in North London later today.
Seydou, 18 and from Phipps Bridge in Mitcham, died outside the Foot Locker shop on the crowded shopping street after being stabbed in the middle of the day. In the days after his murder suspected gang members across south London were arrested to prevent further outbreaks of violence.
Seven men and boys, aged 16 to 22, have been arrested in relation to the crime and remain on bail.
