A woman in her 90s who was seriously injured after her car over turned last week is in a ‘serious but stable’ condition.
The crash happened at about 11.45am on Friday, January 20, when a grey Peugeot 207 rolled onto its roof while travelling along Woodlands Road, near to the Queen Elizabeth Foundation Training College, in Leatherhead.
The woman, who was a front seat passenger, was taken to St Georges Hospital in Tooting with life threatening injuries.
The male driver suffered minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
Police closed the road between the A245 Woodlands Lane at the junction with Stoke Road and Cobham Road, and Woodlands Road at the junction with Oaklawn Road while investigations were carried out.
Today the woman was said to be in a serious but stable condition.
