Firefighters were called last night to remove the roof of a car following a crash in Norbury.
Two people were injured in the accident in South Lodge Avenue, at the junction with Galpins Road.
They were called at 9pm last night, taking just over an hour to remove the roof.
A spokesperson for the fire service said it was a precautionary measure because people inside the car were complaining of back pain.
He said: "The people inside the car were complaining of back pain, the ambulance call the fire brigade if someone complains of pain in their back and it is a precautionary measure to take the roof off."
Two people were sent to St George's Hospital, Tooting.
