An Esher business that employs about 350 people has entered administration and will be making redundancies.

The Cookie Man appointed ReSolve Partners LLP to manage the process at lunchtime on Monday, January 16.

Cameron Gunn, a senior partner with ReSolve said redundancies would be made, but the number of job losses would not be available for about 24 hours.

He said the company continued to trade, and the intention was to stay trading.

Mr Gunn said: “We are working hard to achieve a sale as soon as possible.

“We urge anyone who might have an interest to contact us as a matter of urgency.”

The Cookie Man, based in Mill Road, is a factory which produces bread, pastries and biscuits.
