The approach to Walton Bridge will be partially closed for the next four nights.
Veolia will carry out works from 8pm until 6am up until January 20.
While the works are taking place, Bridge Street’s junction with Walton Lane will be narrowed to one lane.
Temporary three-way traffic signals will control the flow of vehicles.
The partial closure is necessary as part of the new Walton Bridge’s construction because it is necessary to divert the existing water mains so the bridge’s foundations can be laid.
