Lewis Price - 8 With Julian Speroni taken ill the night before, Price would have had little time to prepare for derby day action. It didn't show as he kept a clean sheet, saving at the feet of Liam Trotter to keep Palace in the lead.

Nathaniel Clyne - 8 Another top performance from Clyne, and if his tweets are to be believed, he enjoyed the day too. But will he still be with Palace come the end of the season?

Jonathan Parr - 8 Kept Palace in the lead when he cleared Paul Robinson's header off the line with 15 minutes to go. Looked like he has played left-back all his life.

Paddy McCarthy - 8 Headed clear virtually every cross that came into the box and even managed an inch-perfect tackle on Jay Simpson when he was through on goal. Survived a penalty claim as well.

Anthony Gardner - 8 Quietly efficient alongside Paddy, playing a key-role in the rearguard action that was needed as Millwall piled on the pressure in the second half.

Darren Ambrose - 7 Alternated on either flank with Zaha, had plenty of long-range efforts and delivered the cross that led to the goal. Offered quality in a game where effort was the main virtue.

Kagisho Dikgacoi - 6 Offered little going forward as his passes were continually cut out by the Millwall midfield but when called upon defensively did everything that was needed of him.

Mile Jedinak - 7 Played a similar role to that of Dikgacoi, but did a bit more going forward and would have got on the scoresheet were in not for a great save from Steve Mildenhall. Some great tackles and blocks in the last third as well.

Wilfried Zaha - 7 The New Den pitch was not suited to his stepovers, but he still managed to show up a number of the Millwall back four. Started the move that led to the goal.

Jermaine Easter - 8 The former Millwall man took his tally of goals to five for the season with the winner at The New Den, and in the process staked a claim for starting more games.

Chris Martin - 8 Paired up-front with Easter in a 4-4-2 formation, the on-loan from Norwich striker played a clever game in supporting the Welshman. Dropped into midfield when needed.

SUBS:

Glenn Murray - 6 78th minute sub for Easter and didn't have time to have an impact on the match.

Sean Scannell - 6 73rd minute substitute for Zaha but couldn't get into the game as Palace were pinned back in their half.

Peter Ramage - 6 85th minute sub for Martin and slotted into midfield to add some defensive cover. As with the other replacements, had little time to shape the game but offered fresh legs on a heavy pitch.
