Heavy traffic has affected tram services in Croydon for a second day running.
As people hurry to complete their Christmas shopping, the Tramlink service has struggled to deal with the extra cars on the streets of the town centre.
Transport for London has suspended the service between East Croydon and reeves Corner due to heavy traffic in the Church Street area.
A TfL spokesman said the traffic was due to roadworks in Roman Way, and did not have a time when the service would resume. It was a similar story yesterday, with trams delayed and roads around Croydon congested.
