Commuters will be given the opportunity to purchase emergency Christmas presents for co-workers in Croydon.
The National Lottery Secret Santa Squad will be hitting the streets doling out Emergency Secret Santa Packs to commuters.
With Friday likely to be the busiest day in town for office parties, squad hopes to save some red faces when it comes to that Secret Santa moment.
Each pack, which contains a Christmas card, pen and a seasonal National Lottery Scratchcard, will not only save red-faces for the giver, it might also lead to a £80,000 Christmas windfall for the recipient.
According to a National Lottery Scratchcards survey, alongside friends and distant relatives, work colleagues are among those who are accidentally forgotten when it comes to gift giving at Christmas.
