Sutton's community came together to remember the fallen at Manor Park war memorial today.
Rector of Sutton, Reverend Sarah Mullally from St Nicholas Parish Church, led the ceremony in the November sunshine.
MPs Tom Brake and Paul Burstow were both in attendance, as was Mayor of Sutton Councillor Gerry Jerome.
Flagbearers and children from the Sutton District scouts, police cadets and St John's Ambulance were all resplendent in uniform.
Cannon fire marked the beginning and end of a two minute's silence impeccably held at 11am.
The service was then continued at St Nicholas Parish Church.
